  • Karlštejn Castle is a large Gothic castle founded 1348 AD by Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor-elect and King of Bohemia. The castle served as a place for safekeeping the Imperial Regalia as well as the Bohemian coronation jewels, holy relics and other royal treasures. width:447;;height:300
  • According to a Legend first recorded in the early 12th century Rip hill and its surroundings is the place where the first Slavs settled under leadership forefather Čech.   • Koněprusy Caves is a cave system in Bohemian Karst. It is located southwest of Prague.<br /> With the length of 2 km and vertical range of 70 m it is the largest cave system in Bohemia. Many animal bones from Pleistocene period, as well as human remains aged about 13,000 years have been found during exploration of the caves.
